3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari

Day 1: Pickup and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Our driver/tour guide picks you up from the Airport or your hotel in Entebbe, briefs you about the safari. After the briefing, you will set off for a 10 to 11 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Along your way, you make a stop over at the Equator point at Kayabwe, take some photos and buy some cultural stuff.

After, you continue with the journey and make another stop over at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara for Lunch en-route. You will probably reach Bwindi Impenetrable Forest  in the late evening. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge and have a rest as you prepare for the big day tomorrow.

Day 2:  Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest Impenetrable Forest National Park

You will wake up very early in the morning, have a delicious breakfast served at you lodge. Then our driver/tour guide will drive you to the park headquarters for briefing before your Gorilla trekking safari. After being briefed, you will hike into the Impenetrable forest as you look for a certain Gorilla Family that you will be given. The activity of Gorilla tracking is so unpredictable as it is not guaranteed that you can easily track them. But once you find these giants, you will have a chance to spend 1 hour with them in their habitats.

During this hour, you will know how they behave and it is really a once in a life time moment. After the trekking, you will head back to your lodge to have lunch after which you will have some relaxing time before the next activity. After relaxation, you will go for the Batwa Cultural experience where you will get a chance to learn about their culture.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe

Wake up early morning, have the last breakfast served at your lodge, check out and then embark on the journey back to  Kampala or Entebbe. As you drive Back, you will have lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. Expect to reach Kampala or Entebbe late in the evening.
